How To Measure For Special Size Curtains?
Outdoor Curtain Grommet Top & Bottom
We recommend fullness ratio 1.5x-2x to create the waves and folds when close the curtains.
①Choose your curtain width
If you already have a curtain pole or track:
Measure its full length, excluding any finials.
(This part of the width I call A.)
If you do not hve curtain pole or track fitted:
Measure the full length of your window, if it is in a recess, measure the full length of the recess.
(This part of the width I call B.)
If you have a recessed window, you have the option of fitting the curtains inside the recess or above. If you want your curtains above the window, you need to decide how far your curtains will over-hang the wall, each side of the window. This would normally be around 8 inches(20cm) each side and enables the curtains to open wider, allowing more daylight to enter the room and gives room for the fixture on the end of the curtain pole.
(This part of the width I call C.)
Now add A+B+B(MEASUREMENT C). This will give the desired curtain track/pole width.
Please note do not include curtain pole finials in your width measurements.
②Choose your curtain lenth
The total length of the curtain, the length of the upper and lower rings, minus 10cm*2.
So the distance between the two curtain rods is greater than the total length of the curtain-4inch*2.

Outdoor Curtain Tap top
We think most of time curtains with tab top heading style don't need too much stacks and gathering at top, so we recommend fulness ratio 1-1.5xFor example, rod full length is 80 inches, the single panel width need 40-60 inches if you need 2 panels to hang.
